In this chapter, Ray faces a tough situation. Zeke has been dead for twenty minutes, and Ray, even though he’s a saint, doesn’t have god-like powers. He’s going to try and save Zeke, but it’s not going to be easy.
Ray has defeated all the sword masters, but unfortunately, Zeke loses his life in the process. This is the first death we’ve seen in this story, and we’re left wondering if it’s permanent. Will Ray somehow bring Zeke back to life, or is it impossible because he’s been dead for so long?

You might be wondering why the two swordmasters tried to overpower Ray with mana, even though they could sense his overflowing mana. Well, they believed that despite his impressive magical abilities, an archmage like Ray couldn’t handle the combined mana of two full swordmasters.
Ray’s unique ability to disperse mana into his surroundings allowed him to survive this onslaught. It was their best strategy to defeat him, as they would have been crushed in a direct confrontation.
However, there were some logical issues in this chapter. Zeke, who often ends up injured in fights, gets stabbed and miraculously holds on for another 20 minutes before Ray arrives. This seems unlikely given the circumstances. It’s possible there were translation errors, or the writers overlooked the situation. Many plot holes appeared in this chapter.
So, we’re left with a cliffhanger about Zeke’s fate and how Ray plans to save him. We’ll have to wait for Chapter 65 to find out more.
