Reporting Copyright Infringement Claims

We treat allegations of copyright infringement with utmost seriousness. We will respond to notifications of suspected copyright infringement in accordance with applicable laws. If you believe that any materials accessible on or through this website (the “Website”) violate your copyright, you can request the removal of those materials (or access to them) from the Website by submitting a written notification to our designated Copyright Agent (as identified below). In accordance with the Online Copyright Infringement Liability Limitation Act of the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. § 512) (“DMCA”), the written notice (the “DMCA Notice”) should include the following:

  1. Your physical or electronic signature.
  2. Identification of the copyrighted work you believe has been infringed or, if there are multiple works involved on the Website, a representative list of those works.
  3. Clear identification of the material you believe to be infringing, with enough detail to enable us to locate it (please provide URLs in the body of an email for quicker content identification).
  4. Adequate contact information for us to reach you, including your name, mailing address, telephone number, and, if available, email address.
  5. A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use of the copyrighted material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  6. A statement that the information in your written notice is accurate.
  7. A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.

Failure to meet all the requirements of Section 512(c)(3) of the DMCA may render your DMCA Notice ineffective.

Please note that knowingly providing false information in a DMCA Notice, claiming material or activity on the Website infringes your copyright when it does not, can result in liability for damages (including costs and attorney’s fees) under Section 512(f) of the DMCA.

Counter-Notification Procedures

If you believe that material you posted on the site was mistakenly removed or had access disabled, you can file a counter-notification with us (a “Counter-Notice”) by submitting a written notification to our Copyright Agent (as identified below). In accordance with the DMCA, the Counter-Notice should include the following:

  1. Your physical or electronic signature.
  2. Identification of the material that was removed or had access disabled and its prior location on the Website.
  3. Adequate contact information for us to reach you, including your name, mailing address, telephone number, and, if available, email address.
  4. A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled due to a mistake or misidentification.
  5. A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for the district where your address is located (or if you reside outside the United States, any judicial district where the Website may be found), and that you accept service from the person (or an agent of that person) who provided the Website with the complaint in question.

The DMCA permits us to restore the removed content if the party that filed the original DMCA Notice does not initiate legal action against you within ten business days of receiving your Counter-Notice.

Please be aware that knowingly providing false information in a Counter-Notice, falsely claiming that material or activity on the Website was mistakenly removed or disabled, can result in liability for damages (including costs and attorney’s fees) under Section 512(f) of the DMCA.

In appropriate circumstances, we may deactivate and/or terminate the accounts of users who repeatedly infringe upon copyrights.
