Super Simple High-Protein Egg Recipes for Quick Weight Loss

Want to shed some pounds fast? Combine exercise with a healthy diet to create a calorie deficit. Eating more protein helps build muscles, which is great when you’re working out. Here’s a tasty way to do it with eggs.

1. Boiled Egg Sandwich

Ingredients:

  • 4 eggs
  • 6 slices of brown bread
  • 1 tomato
  • 1 onion
  • 3 green chilies
  • 2 teaspoons coriander leaves
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon refined oil
  • 1 teaspoon pepper

How to Make It:

  1. Boil the eggs in salted water for 10-12 minutes, then peel and chop them.
  2. Finely chop the onion, tomato, green chilies, and coriander leaves.
  3. Mix the chopped eggs, onion, tomato, green chili, and coriander in a bowl.
  4. Add salt and pepper, and mix well.
  5. Place the mixture between two slices of bread.
  6. Toast the sandwich on both sides in a pan with a little oil.
  7. Slice it into 4 pieces and serve hot.

2. Masala Omelette

Ingredients:

  • 3 eggs
  • 1/2 onion (chopped)
  • 1 tomato (chopped)
  • 2 green chilies (chopped)
  • Handful of fresh coriander leaves (chopped)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper (to taste)

How to Make It:

  1. Heat olive oil in a pan and sauté the chopped onion, tomato, and green chilies until they’re cooked.
  2. In a bowl, whisk the eggs and add salt, pepper, and the sautéed veggies.
  3. Heat the pan with a little more olive oil and pour in the egg mixture.
  4. Sprinkle fresh coriander leaves on top and let it cook.
  5. Fold the omelette in half and remove it from heat.

3. Deviled Eggs

Ingredients:

  • Boiled eggs
  • Yolks from boiled eggs
  • A pinch of salt
  • A pinch of pepper
  • Fresh coriander leaves (chopped)
  • Olive oil (optional)

How to Make It:

  1. Peel the boiled eggs and slice them in half lengthwise.
  2. Remove the yolks and mix them with a pinch of salt, pepper, and chopped coriander leaves. You can also add a bit of olive oil if you like.
  3. Fill the yolk mixture back into the center of the egg halves.
  4. Serve and enjoy!
