Fian’s Plan to Inherit the Title
Fian told Paris that he was thinking about going to the Hylde estate to become the duke. Paris was happy to hear this because he was tired of the Emperor testing him about who should be the next in line for the title.
Paris offered to throw Fian a farewell party when he leaves, but Fian wasn’t sure yet.
Fian explained that his mother had to go with him to the Hylde estate for him to inherit the title, so he couldn’t decide on his own.
Paris Remembers a Fairy

The Fairy and a Ring
Later on, Paris remembered seeing the fairy, who was cute. He asked Fian about her, but Fian didn’t know anything about the fairy.
Fian felt bad for missing her and not knowing her name. Paris couldn’t stand Fian when he was drunk and even threatened to beat him up in his dragon form.
Paris told Fian that he didn’t care if he went to the Hylde estate or anywhere else. Fian realized that the fairy might also be at the Hylde estate.
Fian decided to leave, and Paris thought he was acting strangely. Paris never thought he would keep a drunk guy company.
The Surprise Return
Fian came back later, and Paris told him that he was always experiencing something new because of him. Fian was upset because the fairy smelled like him.
Paris then revealed that the fairy had come looking for him, and he had directed her to Fian. Paris noticed that Fian was wearing a ring, and he explained that the fairy had left the ring for him.
He said that the ring was made with a magic stone that could make the wearer look fancy. Paris showed a pendant with a similar ring. Fian was confused about why Paris had the same ring and suggested that Fian should go to Belliana.
Emperor and Lyla’s Conversation
Meanwhile, the Emperor and Lyla were practicing together. He praised Lyla for her improvement.
After their practice, they had a chat. The Emperor asked Lyla about her heart condition, and she told him that her heart had been hurting less lately.
The Emperor noticed that Lyla’s power seemed more stable but cautioned her not to let her guard down. He believed that her power could become unstable as she continued to grow.
The Emperor checked his pocket watch, and Lyla was curious about it. However, she didn’t want to seem suspicious because the Emperor had already noticed her acting differently.
