Leo, the movie starring Thalapathy Vijay, had a slower day at the box office on its nineteenth day, according to the entertainment website Sacnilk. This Tamil action-thriller has been a big success in both India and the Kollywood Box Office, with a total worldwide collection of ₹574 crore on Day 19.
As per Sacnilk, the film earned ₹331.1 crore in India, making it one of the most successful Tamil films this year. On November 6, it had a 15.57% occupancy rate in Tamil theaters. On its nineteenth day in theaters, “Leo” brought in an estimated ₹2.35 crore, according to Sacnilk.
“Leo” is directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj and is among the top twenty blockbusters in India. In its first week, it collected ₹78.1 crore at the box office, followed by ₹31.55 crore in the second week, and ₹8.6 crore during the third week’s weekend. The film is on track to challenge the worldwide collection record of ₹605 crore held by Rajinikanth’s “Jailer.”
The movie’s box office collection experienced a significant drop starting from October 30, following a strong performance during the second week. It’s expected that the collection will slow down further on Day 20, with expectations of around ₹1.12 crore.
“Leo” had a promising start at the box office, collecting ₹64.8 crore on its opening day. Produced by Seven Screen Studio, it earned ₹148.50 crore globally on the first day, becoming the biggest opener for a Tamil film in both domestic and international markets, surpassing previous records by a significant margin.
In the first week, “Leo” garnered a net collection of ₹264.27 crore in India, followed by a net collection of ₹53.35 crore in the second week.
The cast of “Leo” includes Vijay, Sanjay Dutt, Trisha Krishnan, and Arjun Sarja. The film was released on October 19 and is available in multiple languages, including Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada.
