What Happened in Chapter 66
In the last chapter, the story picks up three days after a big battle. Dominicana tells Kim Jinwoo that they’ve replaced the three hundred Naga Soldiers they lost in the fight. Basically, they’re back to where they were before the war in terms of military strength.
Kim asks if this means they’re okay in terms of their military force, and Dominicana confirms that they are.
The Black Merchant Group’s Offer
Later in the chapter, we find out that the Black Merchant Group shared information about the Naha Labyrinth with Valicious. In exchange, they wanted Valicious to be handed over to them alive, along with the core of the Labyrinth of Death.
Kim managed to fulfill his end of the bargain thanks to Rikshasha holding back her desire for revenge. However, the deal didn’t benefit anyone in the end.
Many units from the Labyrinth of Festivals and a large number of Nagas died in the battle, so Kim gained very little from it. When Hoya asks if it’s okay to let the Black Merchant Group take the Necromancer King, Kim doesn’t seem worried. He believes the Black Merchant Group has control over the Gyser, so they should move on to the next problem.
Rikshasha’s Awakening
As they discuss, someone reveals that Rikshasha has woken up. Kim asks her how she’s feeling, and she wonders what happened to her. He explains that she had a seizure after Valicious was taken away.
According to Kim, it’s Gyser’s Curse that came back along with the consequences of the Forced Awakening. There are many questions Rikshasha wants to ask, but for now, Kim suggests she rests a bit more.
