In the last chapter, Van became quite famous after wrapping up a mission in the 48th district. The Dike organization has taken notice and wants to offer Van a new mission. A guy named Sebastian from Dike is eager to meet Van and give him some work. Jenny, a friend of Van’s, told him to meet Sebastian at a bar.
However, things got interesting at the bar when an unfamiliar person named Beth showed up. Beth seemed to have a bone to pick with Van, warning him about what he did with Paul Ackerman. It seems Van’s actions won’t go unnoticed, but he isn’t backing down.
Jessy filled Van in on Sebastian’s importance, so Van went to meet him at the 47th district. There, he met Madison, a manager from the Oracle company, who had a special mission for him. This mission involved a game-changing blueprint that had been stolen. However, Van and Sebastian suspected something fishy about the whole deal, thinking Madison might be hiding something.
Sebastian, being a friend of the Oracle company’s CEO, promised to look into it. So, Chapter 49 will likely revolve around Van’s decision regarding this mission and the new gang that’s causing trouble for him.
Sebastian seems keen to team up with Van, and we’re hopeful that he’s a genuine ally. But, we’ll have to wait for the new season to find out for sure.
