In Chapter 21, the story starts with Long going to the café to have coffee. Lan recognizes him and asks what he wants to drink. Long is surprised and stammers as he orders milk coffee.
The next day, Long works at a call center and has to deal with a customer who’s unhappy with his company’s product. He listens to her complaints, even though he doesn’t like the job, especially when it involves women. After work, Long goes to the café again.
Lan is happy to see Long becoming a regular customer. She’s busy, so she asks Long to help tie her apron. While doing so, something clicks between them. The next day, Lan gives Long a shoulder massage to make him feel better. Later, Long returns the favor.
As the story progresses, a new character named Kieu is introduced, who seems to be Lan’s friend from high school. Long misunderstands their relationship, and his bond with Lan grows every time he visits the café. Lan even appears in Long’s dreams, though it’s more like a nightmare.
