The tower has a sinister plan. It wants to create a god for its own purposes. To make this god stronger, it transfers abilities and divinity from administrators. Here’s how it works:
- The tower makes a challenger an apostle of administrators to transfer abilities.
- Then, it forces the future god to kill administrators and take their divinity (given in exchange for sorting out their regrets).
This turns administrators into enemies of the challengers. So, when the iron-blooded monarch claimed that administrators weren’t allied with the tower, she might have been telling the truth. However, this doesn’t mean she won’t try to kill Sungyoon once her regrets are resolved.
Sungyoon’s Blunder
The tower doesn’t want Sungyoon to know about its expectations because he might get killed by administrators before the tower can control him. If Sungyoon knows he’s being used, he might resist the tower’s control. Sungyoon made a mistake by attacking the monarch and revealing information about the tower’s expectations. The god of verification might have known this would happen, which is why he warned Sungyoon not to trust other gods for protection.
The Only Ally
