Chapter 25: Why Some People Dislike the Female Lead
In this chapter, we’ll find out why someone in the castle doesn’t like the main female character. She caused problems for many people when she unexpectedly married the male lead. Some think she’s not good enough to be second in command in the country.
The story takes place in a monarchy where being the best at something doesn’t matter much. The recent conflicts in the story are pretty silly. A lower-class person got into the upper class through marriage.
Nobody, not even the female lead, needs to feel bad about it. But the story is mostly about how the characters who don’t like her are wrong for not accepting her. It doesn’t really make sense given the social system in the story, but that’s how it is for now.
Chapter 24 Recap: The Gathering
Chapter 24 showed us a big moment. All the guests gathered to meet the female lead, who is now the empress. Some of them wanted to meet her just to see how clumsy she was because she’s not from a noble family.
But the story is making a big deal out of something that doesn’t matter in this kingdom. Still, the antagonists (or the petty people with nothing better to do) are upset because someone of low birth became empress. One of them even tried to make the empress embarrass herself in front of others.
However, the main character saw through this and had a different teacher who taught her how to act like a boss. In the middle of the chapter, the female lead shows that she won’t be fooled by her official tutor anymore.
Chapter 25 Spoilers: New Challenges for the Empress
Chapter 25 will reveal what’s going on with an old man whose responsibilities were taken over by the female lead. She caused trouble for everyone when she became the empress after the emperor chose her. She quickly settled into her new role, suggesting that she might have wanted this all along.
Now that she’s married, she faces new challenges. She needs to prove that she’s the best in the kingdom and deserves the respect of an empress. However, it would be better if the story didn’t drag on with too many chapters and focused more on her actual skills.
